Low to moderate fertility—avoid rich composts
Watering:
Keep evenly moist during establishment
Avoid overwatering—Godetia is prone to root rot in wet conditions
Use drip irrigation or water at base to prevent Botrytis
Frost Tolerance: Can handle light frost but protect from hard freezes
Photoperiod: Obligate long-day—needs 14+ hours of light to flower reliably
Light exposure: Full sun preferred; part shade tolerated in warmer zones
Transplant promptly—plugs left too long may flower prematurely
