Common Name: Foxglove

Type: Biennial / short-lived perennial (2-3 years) often flowers first year

Height: 60–90 cm (flower spikes may reach 100 cm)

Spacing: 30–40 cm

Sunlight: Full sun to part shade (morning sun ideal in warm climates)

Soil: Well-draining, loamy soil enriched with organic matter, pH 6.0–7.0

Watering: Moderate; prefers evenly moist soil but dislikes waterlogging

Fertilizer: Balanced, low-nitrogen feedTemperature: Thrives in cool to mild conditions, prefers 10–20 °C

🌿 Planting & Care

Planting Time:
Autumn to early spring (best in cooler seasons)

Pruning / Deadheading:
Remove spent flower spikes to encourage side shoots and extended flowering

Generally pest-resistant; attracts bees and beneficial insects

Support:
May require light staking in windy areas to support tall flower spikes
